Fly Off The Plate Rolls



3c. Hot Tap Water

1T. Salt

1/4c. Oil or Real Butter

1/2 c. Sugar

2T. Instant Yeast

2c. Flour


Mix water, salt, oil/butter, and sugar; then add the yeast. Mix. Add flour, 1 cup at a time, until you have a nice sticky dough ( about 3 more cups of flour). Make sure you mix each cup of flour well before you add the next. Pour onto a floured cupboard. Make into balls. Let rise on a greased cookie sheet ( fills an 11 x 17 inch pa perfectly). These only need to rise once. Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes!


These are so yummy and true to their name they really do fly off the pan! They are so easy and pretty fool proof! I don't make bread really well and these turned out perfectly!
